Ahoy,

I'm now returning to Guild Wars after a very hefty
year break. I'm back to for fill a fruitful career doing
pure PvP.

Though I am unsure on one thing..

Should I make a PvP only character on my return and play
from there, Or should I make a newb and level it to Lv.20,
and then do pure PvP.

In your replies could you please state reasons for doing
either Leveling from 1 - 20, or making a PvP Only Char.

assuming you've played a bit before your break, you probably have expensive mods/runes unlocked.

therefore, you should make a PvP-only character, because then you won't have to worry about buying a rune of superior vigor, for example.

also, you can change your armor, weapons, etc. at a whim.

however, if you think you might ever want to play PvE again, well...make a pve character.

Get glorious PVE only weapons so you look cool in combat

Depends. PvP characters can customize at a whim and dont require money to get skills/items/upgrades. If you want to PvE do PvE. If you want PvP do PvP characters. It doesn't matter about the flashiest weapons, because if it works, then do it.
